Matthew Breno
Personal Trainer
Matthew brings over three decades of integrated movement expertise as a Personal Trainer, Certified Functional Aging Specialist, Hatha Yoga Instructor, and Myofascial Release Therapist, specializing in evidence-based tensegrity-centered training programs that honor the body's biotensional architecture. Drawing from his background as a former Amateur Mixed Martial Arts competitor (2000-2003) and deep fluency in Movement Patterning, PNF Therapy (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), and Principles of Structural Alignment, he creates evidence-based programs that blend Eastern internal arts philosophy with Westernexercise science in a method he calls the Tensegral Integrated Power System - or TIPS.
With extensive experience conducting classes, workshops, and personalized training throughout California,
Ohio, and Florida—serving both groups and individuals—Matthew specializes in working with seniors and at-risk youth, designing customized fascial-integrated programs that build functional strength, mobility, and resilience through the body's natural force transmission pathways. His approach prioritizes the fascial system as the primary organizing structure for movement, creating training protocols that develop durable, adaptable tissue capable of meeting real-world demands while maintaining the elastic quality essential for longevity and performance.
Matthew also designs specialized performance modules—including targeted Strength & Power protocols—tailored for competition-level athletes across all disciplines, from sports and dance to combat-based training
